Fu Qiming and Ding Yiten were two auxiliary polices of Luojing Police Station. Fu was clever, outgoing, shrewd and ingratiating, hence was soon appreciated and promoted by his leader; whereas Ding’s character was the opposite. The two worked together to arrest prostitutes and their clients, and gamblers, and contributed to the detection of major cases. Due to their cooperation, they gradually became best friends. They even rented a farmer’s house to live together with their girfriends, who were both college students. However, their happy days came to an end after a guy named An Zhiyong appeared on the stage. Their girlfriends left them, they discorded with each other in contending for a position, and afterward both left the police station to go on different life paths.
