As you may be well aware or discovered yourself on Facebook or in a huge variety of outlets, these images of “Jimmy Choo” hit websites and papers around the world – from China to France, Brazil to Italy, from the Today show to the Huffington Post - causing a huge international sensation.

You can see a real artist is behind these images and they will only get better once he reshoots all the photos in a professional studio as these photos were done on an iPhone in natural light inside Rafael’s empty house.

If you hadn’t seen the news or the photos, the back story is that Rafael, upon his divorce, was left the house by his ex-wife with absolutely nothing in it but himself and Jimmy and he started to decorate it with what he had – his dog. He turned to the dog as a source of inspiration and entertainment.

In this book, Mantesso combines his distinctive cartoon line art style with poses by Jimmy Choo (often wearing inspired costuming) and text about the lives of dog and owner to create a striking and hilarious illustrated chronicle of their relationship—and adventures.
