Speth's Last Day speech is fast approaching and will mark her transition into adulthood with her first paid words. Once she turns 15, every word she speaks ("Sorry" is a flat $10 and a legal admission of guilt, every nod ($0.99/sec), and every scream ($0.99/sec) will require payment. She knows better than to fall into debt and risk getting her eyes shocked as a reminder that she's unable to pay and should stop speaking.
When Speth's friend Beecher commits suicide rather than work off his family's crippling debt, she's horrified and furious. She can't even express her grief without breaking her Last Day contract and sending her family into a similar debt. Rather than read her speech, Speth closes her mouth and vows never to speak again. The companies won't make a single penny from her. Unfortunately, her defiance leads to a media frenzy, sparking others to follow in her footsteps and threatening the very fabric of society. Speth understands silence will be difficult, but her choice is about to have consequences that could destroy everything she has ever known.

Sequel ACESS RESTRICTED will deliver in 2018.
