Ammare. Come with me to Lampedusa

Mattia is 15 years old. Caterina is 13. They have many questions and a few replies: on the world, on the future, on themselves. Their paths cross. First of all, almost by chance, in real life. Then, on purpose, in the lines of a blog: Vieniconmealampedusa.it. Mattia works on the blog, under a false identity. In the blog, he is Franz, a boy who wants to make the world aware of the migrants’ fate. This idea comes from a school search, even if Mattia never wants to get involved in anything, even if he prefers to hide behind a mass of curly hair, even if he keeps in his  drawer a well hidden list of dreams. Mattia feels he cannot keep silent any longer, not in front of all those who die in the Mediterranean Sea looking for hope, for a way out. For the first time, Mattia takes over his life to make something important, to make a mark. And he invites a politician to spend a week with him in a migrants’ center. Maybe this will not happen and no politician will reply to Mattia’s call, but what he will find through his blog is much more: thousands of followers ready to look up with him.
