AUDI MOTORSPORT

Audi’s corporate taglines ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ and ‘Innovation through technology’ have already become a dictum for any successful technical invention – obviously also due to the phenomenal success of the Audi motorsport division. Audi’s rich tradition in motorsport began with their former company Auto Union in the 1930s. Since then Audi has competed in numerous forms of motorsports: Rallying, Touring Cars and Sports Car Racing.

The well-known author, Claus-Peter Andorka, has compiled this official book in close cooperation with the Audi Tradition division in Ingolstadt. Previously unpublished material from a recently acquired phot library of Mr Ferdi Kräling illustrate the historical review in very intense pictures
