BECAUSE YOU ARE MINE
Berkley has a new, erotic special event on the horizon: Because You Are Mine by Beth Kery.
Because You Are Mine is an erotic ebook that will be published in 8 parts over a period of several weeks (an ebook serial). Each part will contain 2 chapters, and part 1 will be published on July 31st. Eventually, we will publish the separate parts as one complete book.
It was briefly mentioned in a recent USA Today article and more media coverage is expected as we get closer to launch date.
Now, more good news: we are NOT requiring foreign publishers to follow our example and do a serial ebook. Foreign publishers can buy print and ebook rights as usual; however, foreign editions of the entire book (ebook or print) can not be published before the end of our ebook serialization.
In the next few days, parts 1 & 2 (the first 4 chapters) will become available. By mid July, the complete manuscript will be ready.
Also, you should know that Beth Kery's backlist titles are suddenly being "discovered" by readers who may have too shy to pick up erotic romance in the past. Her backlist titles are: Wicked Burn, Daring Time, Sweet Restraint, Paradise Rules, Release and Explosive. Previously, Beth Kery has sold in Italy (Harelquin Mondadori) and Thailand (Crystal Pub).
