With the Fall of the Wall, dull Berlin-Mitte became a melting pot for young people from all over the world. At that time there was no other city that left that much space for new ideas, creativity and their minds: This city wanted to be conquered. And so it happened. When Angelika Taschen came back to Germany from Los Angeles in 2004, she chose to make Berlin her new hometown. She wanted to take part in the reinvention of a cosmopolitan city. Now she dedicates a whole book to the unique Berlin style that has been developed and come of age in this city. Musts are, for example, cool basics such as military parkas, skinny jeans and fashion jute. Adding the right accessories will make the appearance perfect – brand logo free at its best.
