BEYOND TEXTING

Most teenagers are experts at texting, emailing and Facebooking - all wonderful ways to communicate with friends, or stay in touch with far-off relatives. But they don't have a lot of experience with face-to-face interactions. In BEYOND TEXTING, Fine tells teens how to prepare for face-to-face teacher meetings, dates, interviews and school events and to build social opportunities without the use of social networking sites. She'll teach them how to avoid conversational "faux pas" and to understand the importance of body language, eye contact and tone.
