CENTAUR RISING

On a horse farm in the 1960s, Arianne Martins, her mother, her brother Robbie who is a thalidomide child, and their farm manager Martha are eking out a living. Unexpectedly, their old pony gives birth to a centaur. They try to keep it a secret, only the four of them and the veterinarian know the about the pony-boy. But of course it gets out and chaos ensues. But Arianne has a plan, handicapped Robbie has the loving heart, and as long as their father - a rock star who deserted them when Robbie was born - doesn't destroy everything, it may all come out all right in the end.
