CHANGELING

THE CHANGELING tells the story of a 14 year old boy, Trey Laporte, whose life changes irrevocably with the arrival of a strange visitor, a man claiming to be his uncle, at the care home he has lived in since the death of his grandmother. Lucien Charron's arrival, moments after Trey has been accused of destroying his room and his few personal possessions in a bizarre, violent and inexplicable incident that has left Trey feeling sick and confused, is not coincidental. He has come to protect the boy and reveal to him his true nature, that of a lycanthrope whose inherited powers, and ability to control them, make him both target and deadly weapon in the ongoing battle between the forces of good and evil.

Struggling to understand what is going on, but trusting this strange man with his life, Trey leaves the home and in so doing enters the opulent world of Lucien Charron and his teenage daughter Alexa where he learns what really happened to his parents and to his horror who or what his hosts really are. When the care home is burnt down killing all inside, Trey has no where else to go; and when Alexa is kidnapped by Caliban, Lucien's evil brother who is plotting to unleash a plague of murderous violence in the world, he must quickly learn to use his skills and help save those for whom he has grown to care.
