For the last two decades, Linda Venis has been the Director of the UCLA Extension Writers' Program, who hires, supervises, and evaluates the Program's extensive roster of film and television writing instructors. She has guided the growth of the Writer's Program into the nation's largest creative writing and screenwriting program. Dr. Venis has taught writing and literature at UCLA and USC and is the recipient of the prestigious UCLA Distinguised Teaching Award.
