Alec Renehan and Bryce Leske are the authors of the bestselling Get Started Investing (2021) and they have now written the simplest guide to stockmarket investing ever.

If you can't bear all the fuss and just want to set and forget, this is the book for you. After running their hugely successful podcast Equity Mates since 2017, Alec and Bryce reckon they've cracked three well-hidden truths: 1. Most of us just want enough income to live comfortably; 2. Digital investment platforms now allow anyone with a spare few dollars to take advantage of the full power of the stock market; and 3. With the right strategy, you can start small and be confident of a comfortable retirement. Everything else is smoke and mirrors and greed that keeps fund managers and financial advisors in business. The authors have taken great care with internationalising country-specific details. Examples are from around the world or mainly generic, and there's quite a bit of overseas data. This is quite different from your typical introduction to investing, of which there are many on the market in every country. It's much more introductory, for people who actually don't want to get very serious about investing. It's probably unique in its simplicity and appeal to younger readers.
