Identity

This book is a collection of selected poems composed by Jidi Majia, one of the most important Chinese poets with international inf luence and officially accepted as a representative poet of contemporary China. While carrying forward Chinese poetry tradition, especially Yi people’s cultural tradition, the collection also absorbs the essence of literature classics worldwide. Jidi Majia imbues his poems with a moving artistic power, which is not common in the present-day poetry world.
