ISHA, UNSCRIPTED

Sajni Patel

A comedic and heartfelt adult coming-of-age story about a screenwriter who will do just about anything to get her script in front of Matthew McConaughey.
Isha Patel is the black sheep of the family. As an aspiring screenwriter, she doesn't have a "prestigious" degree or a "real" career, but that's okay because she commiserates with her best friend. Who happens to be her cousin. And a guy. But Rohan is the best bro one can have. And since he's also a black sheep, why not help each other get through disappointing their parents together?

Rohan is the one person who is always there for Isha. When Isha has a breakthrough getting her script in front of producers, it doesn't go according to plan. But instead of letting her dreams fall through the cracks, Rohan convinces her to snag a one-on-one session with a high- profile Austinite, none other than Matthew McConaughey. He was her professor at UT. He must remember her, right? And thanks to Rohan's seemingly endless connections, she knows exactly where McConaughey will be...

Chasing Matthew McConaughey won't be easy, though. Isha needs a drink to muster up courage and stamina... and gets one from the cutest bartender ever. When stalking - err pursuing a celeb, hijinks and mishaps ensue! Like too-tight contacts getting sucked up into the backs of Isha's eyes and having to rely on blurred night vision to get her script into the right hands, accidentally starting a bar fight, stowing away in Satan's dumpster, and ending up in a breaking and entering scandal that could jumpstart a career in crime, with the most surprising twist of all. Through it all the Brohan is there, as always, to have her back - at least until both of them get caught. Can we say Thirst-Trap bartender to the rescue?
