One day Katy goes to her friends on the farm and asks them if they saw the mouse today. “Absolutely not!” say the animals. Katy runs to the stable and asks the animals if they saw the mouse today. “Absolutely not!” the animals answer. She goes to the pond and asks the animals the same question. “No!” answer the animals. Katy runs to the meadow and the question and the answer were the same. “No. We didn’t see the mouse today!” Katy cries: But we had such fun playing yesterday! Playing? Now all animals remember where the mouse is. Katy runs to the backyard and sees the mouse waiting to play with her.
