L’IMPREVEDIBILE PIANO DELLA SCRITTRICE SENZA NOME ( The Unpredictable Plan of the Ghostwriter) is the debut novel by Alice Basso, a new, talented, surpising writer. It’s a tribute to books, to love, to mysteries.
Silvana Sarca, a.k.a. “Vani”, works as a ghostwriter for the prestigeous Editions Erica, and becomes a detective against her will. A "ghostwriter" has the same skills and talent of a profiler i.e. deep empathy, keen intuition and an uncommon spirit of observation. In the meanwhile, Vani becames romantically involved with Riccardo Randi, a writer suffering from a mental block. Alice Basso was born in Milan in 1979 and now lives in a charming medieval village outside Turin. She works in a publishing house. In her free time she pretends to still be twenty years old, she writes the lyrics for and she sings in a rock band. She plays the saxophone, she loves to draw, she is a bad cook, and she is even a worse car-driver. And do not mention sports to her .
