Lost in Tango

Klaus & Philipp Hympendahl

224 pages, many coloured pictures, 215 x 254 mm, hardcover

Argentine tango has gained status of world cultural heritage, appealing to an ever growing fan base worldwide. This book provides a highly emotional approach to origins and culture of tango in all its facets on the one hand, and from the very individual perspective of the author who considered Tango an essential part of this life, on the other hand.

The authors: Klaus Hympendahl made his way from creative director with an own advertising agency, through the passion for sailing resulting in a round the world sailing tour and establishment of an own chandlery, up to finally finding back to his old and ultimate passion for tango, which he especially lived and enjoyed through the last years of his life.

The expressive and artistic pictures taken by his son Philipp, who is a graduated photographer, add a powerful impact on this highly emotional subject.
