LOVE & OLIVES

Jenna Evans Welch

Olive is 17 and lives in Seattle with her mom and stepfather; her biological father left when she was 8 for Santorini, Greece, to search for the lost city of Atlantis. But the summer before her senior year of high school, her father invites Liv to spend 10 days with him in Santorini. Reluctantly she goes, and learns the documentary isn't as serious as she believed, and that reuniting with her father isn't as joyous as she thought.
But she spends her days exploring Santorini with teenaged Theo, the documentarian, who is annoying but pretty cute. And she learns more about her father, and the real reason he left.

Even if they don't find Atlantis, Liv will find out a lot about life and love and growing up, and maybe find a way to forgive, during her summer in Santorini.
