MALLORCA clásica

Majorca Clásica is a journey to the 1960s and 70s before tourists started to flood the island from all over Europe. In those days Josep Planas was the only professional photographer on the island. He started his business and set up small camera shops where he sold his colour postcards to the growing number of tourists. Over the years he photographed almost any location of the island, portrayed famous artists and actors as well as everyday beach scenes and hotel buildings.

Since this photographic heritage of Majorca has been hidden in the private family archives
