MBA IN A DAY 2.0
What you would learn at top-tier business schools (if you only had the time!)
Of course you can’t get an MBA degree in a day—ask anyone who has put in the months and years needed to accomplish this challenging and rewarding achievement. However, this book is where you will find, in basic, easy-to-understand language, MBA concepts and principles that are presented in the gold standard of business education throughout the world—the master of business administration.
Who has the time or money for an MBA? You have a job, a professional practice, or a business to start or grow.
Business skills, however, are essential for success whether you’re a doctor, lawyer, engineer, working in a non-profit organization or building your own business. Understanding basic concepts of economics, marketing, management, leadership, finance, and accounting will be the fuel for your drive and passion to succeed.
MBA in a DAY 2.0 tackles business fundamentals in a simple and engaging manner. Professor Steven Stralser, PhD, makes it easy to grasp the basics of business: how to manage people, how to manage money, how to manage markets, and how to manage business systems. These four areas of exploration will deepen your understanding of how the business world works.
Not everyone has time to take a class, but if you learn just one new concept every time you open this book, you’ll be well on your way to build your own MBA!
Steven Stralser Ph.D. is Emeritus Professor of Entrepreneurship at Thunderbird School of Global Management, and previously, was a member of the faculty at The University of Arizona where he was recognized as “Faculty of the Year” for teaching excellence and received the Bobcat Senior Honorary Faculty Award.
Professor Stralser was a Fulbright Senior Scholar for The Budapest University of Economic Sciences and The University of Miskolc and taught Entrepreneurship in the MBA program at the Czech Management Centre and has led MBA seminars in London, Paris, and Brussels.
MBA in a Day® has been presented to diverse audiences, such as The Chicago Medical Society, The Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, The American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, Michigan State Medical Society, The Annual Meeting of the Mensa Society, Maricopa County Bar Association, Association of Fundraising Professionals, The Institute of Real Estate Management, American Express Financial Services, and Non Profit Management Solutions.
