MICE OF THE ROUND TABLE
A Tail of Camelot
A new middle-grade fantasy proposal developed by Paper Lantern Lit. in collaboration with bright young talent Julie Leung, who works in the digital marketing department of Random House. Drawing on rich source material ranging from Brian Jacques’s Redwall to the Arthurian legends of T.E. White, this is a wonderful imagining of the Camelot myth from the point of view of the court’s humblest creatures.
This is the first in a planned series of four books.
Book 2: Shadow Secrets
Book 3: Dark Promises
Book 4: The Midnight Hour
Julie Leung was raised in the sleepy suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, though it may be more accurate to say she grew up in Oz and came of age in Middle-Earth. These days, you can find her in New York City, spending her daylight hours noodling on pixels and bits for a children's book publisher. In her free time, she is either furtively sniffing old books at used bookstores, losing games of Magic the Gathering, or pacing a subway platform. Her favorite mode of transportation is the library. She lives in Brooklyn.
