MILO AND MARCOS AT THE END OT THE WORLD

Kevin Christopher Snipes

When Marcos moves to town, Milo is forced to acknowledge the feelings he's hidden - from himself and his religious parents. But as natural disasters begin to befall them the closer they become, their love will need to overcome both freakish "acts of God" and vicious judgments in this young adult debut by playwright and creator of The Two Princes podcast, Kevin Christopher Snipes.
Somehow Milo managed to coast through most of high school without any major disasters, and by his calculations, he's due for some sort of Epic Teenage Catastrophe. For the rest of senior year, all he wants to do is be the quiet, well-behaved little Presbyterian that everyone believes he is. And then - like clockwork - the dreamily handsome, charismatic, Marcos Price walks back into his life. Suddenly the feelings he locked away from their time at Bible camp together come rushing back. Milo isn't ready to deal with the spotlight that comes with acknowledging what these feelings mean, especially not to his deeply religious parents. But as he falls ever more deeply for Marcos, he isn't willing to bury them away again either.

And then there's the weather. Strange things have been happening in Florida ever since they've reconnected. Sink holes. Black outs. Hailstorms. It seems like the closer Milo and Marcos get, the worse the natural disasters are that befall them. As more and more bizarre occurrences pile up, Milo is forced to consider the unthinkable: is there a larger, unseen force at play, trying to keep them apart? In the face of mounting odds, Milo and Marcos will be forced to reckon whether their love is strong enough to overcome what seems like the end of the world.

Milo and Marcos at the End of the World is a new, coming of age novel about discovering not only the love we have for others, but the love we all must have for ourselves from debut author Kevin Christopher Snipes.

Kevin Christopher Snipes is a New York based writer who was born and raised in Florida. He spent his early career in the theater writing such plays as A Bitter Taste, The Chimes and Ashes, Ashes.
