Pig Iron

A chess player gets killed in a New York City square and he is transported to the Short Life, an afterlife situation with a limited time frame. This is where he will be required to reestablish the novel 4001 by the Austrian author Robert Kraus and find out if the author is indeed lost in some point of that unknown area.
