PONY CONFIDENTIAL

Christina Lynch

A cranky, endearing pony discovers that the only human he's ever loved stands accused of a crime he knows she didn't commit and he's determined to save her by finding the real killer in this one-of-a-kind mystery.
In this mystery with heart and humor, a hilariously caustic pony who's been passed from owner to owner "like an adorable stomach virus" busts out and goes on an action-packed, cross-country mission to reunite with Penny, the one little girl he's always loved, only to discover that she is now an adult who stands accused of murder. As smart and devious as he is cute, the pony must use his hard-won knowledge of human weakness and cruelty to try to find the true killer and clear Penny's name. This acutely observant genre mashup of Only Murders in the Building and The Art of Racing in the Rain reveals the humanity of animals and the beastliness of humans in a twisting, rollicking escapade of epic proportions. Christina Lynch is at the beck and call of two dogs, three horses and a hilarious pony who carts her up and down mountains while demanding (and receiving) many carrots. Besides Pony Confidential, she is also the author of two historical novels set in Italy and the co-author of two comic thrillers set in Prague and Vienna. She teaches at College of the Sequoias and lives in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada.
