She is trying to "get out there" but her favorite thing to do is to stay home and watch her favorite soap opera, Carson's Cove. The show ended unexpectantly on a cliffhanger after five seasons, and the two main characters, Sloan and Spencer, never got to declare their love for one another.
As Brynn blows out her birthday cake candles she makes a wish for her happily-ever-after. And the next morning she wakes up in Carson's Cove ... and Josh is there too. Everyone there seems to think they are Sloan (the sweetheart of Carson's Cove) and Fletch (the town's bad boy). It's not long before they discover the only way to get back to their own reality is to ensure Sloan and Spencer end up together to fix that cliffhanger. But as they spend more time together, Brynn and Josh start to fall for each other in an unexpected plot twist.
