Ross Greene, Ph.D., is founder and Director of Lives in the Balance (www.livesinthebalance.org) and the originator of the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions approach. He served on the faculty at Harvard Medical School for over 20 years, and is now adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech. Dr. Greene consults extensively to general and special education schools, inpatient psychiatry units, and residential and juvenile detention facilities, and lectures extensively throughout the world. His research has been funded by the U.S. Department of Education, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the Stanley Medical Research Institute, and the Maine Juvenile Justice Advisory Group.
