RELENTLESS

Shari Wenk Tim Grover

From Good to Great to Unstoppable

After more than two decades of training some of the greatest figure in sports, Grover will finally reveal how the best athletes in the world harness their fears and tap into their inner excellence.
RELENTLESS is about achieving the impossible. Direct, blunt, and brutally honest, RELENTLESS goes to the ‘dark side’ of competitive intensity and killer instinct, that intangible zone where good becomes great, daring readers to admit what’s stopping them from succeeding, and forcing them to see that to be the best. You have to keep getting better, you never stop working and improving. You never accept being ‘good enough.’

Tim Grover is world-class authority on sports performance and motivation. He has trained more than 100 championship athletes from all the major professional sports, including Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley and Hakeem Olajuwon, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Paul Pierce, Caron Butler, Dwight Howard, Luol Deng, Eddy Curry, Gilbert Arenas, Jeremy Evans, Tim Hardaway, Juwan Howard, Tracy McGrady, Carlos Boozer, Alex Rodriguez, Ken Griffey Jr., Donovan McNabb, and many others. As a former NCAA Division I basketball player at University of Illinois-Chicago, Grover was inducted into the UIC Hall of Fame with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010. He was recently named Director of Sports Performance for USA Basketball, and accompanied the 2012 USA Olympic Basketball team to London this summer. He is the founder of Attack Athletics, a cutting-edge training center for elite athletes. He is based in Chicago.

Shari Lesser Wenk, co-writer of bestselling “Start Something” by Ear Woods and the Tiger Woods Foundation, has worked on sports books as a literary agent, editor and ghost writer since 1983. She lives in Chicago.
