Guy Grieve and his wife Juliet decided to make their break for freedom after enduring one too many grey Scottish days. In Venezuela they bought Forever, a beautiful yacht, planning to sail back home to Scotland with their two small boys. They soon realized they had perhaps bitten off more than they could chew, though, with thirty-foot waves and squalls threatening their very lives. But as they met each challenge, they gradually discovered what it really means to be a family.

Guy Grieve is an author and adventurer with an irrepressible love of the sea. He started the award- winning Ethical Shellfish Company on the Isle of Mull, where he harvests wild scallops and other shellfish, and lives on the island with his wife and two sons.
