A graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Laura worked as a newspaper reporter and freelance business writer before delving headfirst into her first love—fiction. In addition to romance, Laura also writes mysteries under the name Elizabeth Lynn Casey, with another publisher. A member of both MWA and RWA, Laura is a former Agatha Award nominee.
