Meg Fleming is an award-winning children's book author, a fan of all dogs and a big-time laugher. Also a voice teacher and former music educator, Meg draws on her love of rhythm, rhyme, and lyricism to create and imagine stories. She writes from her home outside of San Francisco, where she lives with her three kids, her one husband and her dancy-prancy dog named Opal.
Lucy Ruth Cummins spends her days as an art director, working on everything from picture books on up to young adult novels. She has previously illustrated This Is Not a Valentine by Carter Higgins and Truman by Jean Reidy. She lives with her family in Brooklyn, New York.
