STRINGS OF FATE
STRINGS OF FATE, the first installment in a romantic suspense trilogy from debut author Deirdre Dore, featuring a yoga instructor who unintentionally lures a serial killer to her small Georgia town, and the sexy FBI agent sent in to hunt him down.
Christina, Tavey, and Raquel were only children when their best friend disappeared, a crime that remains unsolved. Now, decades later, all three women remain anchored in the small town of Fate, Georgia—a town tainted by their haunting memories of the past, and their obsession to discover what happened to their friend so many years ago.
Christina Pascal has never had a real job...or a real boyfriend. When she isn’t teaching yoga class part time or attending classes, she is either getting paid to invent fake relationships for people on the Internet, or she is helping her two best friends work on cold cases involving missing children in their home town of Fate, Georgia, in the hopes of uncovering some sort of clue as to what happened to their best friend who disappeared sixteen years ago. What Christina doesn’t realize is that her search for the missing has attracted the attention of a serial killer, and he is assuming the identities that she has created for others and using them to lure in his victims. And now, she fears that she could be his next target.
When sexy FBI agent Ryan Helmer is sent in to help her, Christina doesn't know whether she can trust him, especially when their sizzling chemistry risks putting the case in jeopardy...
Deirdre Dore began writing in second grade, when she was told to create a story about the Trail of Tears, and has never stopped. She has worked as an Assistant Editor, an English teacher, and a software trainer among her many careers, but becoming a full-time author has always been her end goal. She lives near her family in Houston, Texas, with her husband and two dogs.
