Moziah Bridges

In June of 2011, when Moziah Bridges was just nine years old, he turned his love of wearing vintage inspired bow ties into a business. With just his mother and grandmother's help, Mo's Bows started initially to service his classmates, and then the local community. But Mo's passion for fashion, and hardworking attitude quickly propelled Mo's Bows into the stratosphere. Just over a year later Mo had his first national television appearance on Steve Harvey. A year after that he landed a coveted spot in O Magazine, and of course a year after that came Mo's life changing appearance on Shark Tank. Despite multiple offers from the Sharks, Mo's mom Tramica, (also known as the CEO of Mo) wisely steered them towards Daymond John.
Having grown his own fashion empire at not quite as young an age, Daymond saw much of himself in Mo, and knew that what he needed wasn't investment money, it was a mentor. Since then Mo's Bows has been on a roller coaster ride of success. Mo's Bows are carried in major national retailers such as Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus and featured on the Home Shopping Network. Mo has been named one of Time Magazine's 30 Most Influential Teens and Fortune's 18 under 18. He has launched a collection of bow ties for the NBA and been invited to the White House where President Obama asked to meet Mo and received a special "Obama Blue" Mo's Bowtie. Mo's Bows is what today's "kidpreneurs" dream of achieving. Not surprisingly, Mo regularly speaks all around the country, teaching and inspiring kids who want to follow in his footsteps. During his talks, he shares his BOWS of Business: Believe in yourself, take the Opportunity to give back, Work hard/study hard and have Support from friends and family. He knows there is a Mo's Bows in every household, kids just need someone to help nurture their talents. Now with his very own book, aimed at middle grade but easily extending below and above that age group, Mo will share with readers his amazing journey, and reveal all the ups and downs and important lessons he learned along the way. THE BOOK OF MO will be an inspirational, fun read that will show kids just like Mo how to achieve their dreams.

Mo has also been featured on Beyond the Tank, and has the support of his mentor and New York Times bestselling author Daymond John, who has already agreed to promote the book on his social media channels and write a foreword. The number of television, print and online media hits Mo has received in the past few years is incredible, and Tramica fields 8-10 new speaking, interview, and/or Skype requests for Mo every month. Mo has two major speaking engagements coming up with Verizon and Urgent Inc.
