THE CALL is a complex and highly stylized novel about a veterinarian whose life holds secrets unknown even to him. After his son goes into a coma after a hunting accident, a different son that he didn't know he had materializes and turns his world on its head. A richly-layered narrative that is all at once compulsively readable and highly original.
