No one except Addy believes in the rumored family curse - but she's got good evidence that she's afflicted by it! Sixth grade would be bad enough with all the embarassments she has to deal with (she was actaully spotted buying a training bra by the meanest and most popular girl at school!), but then there are th really mortifying things, like her mom's chatty new live-in boyfriend. Luckily Addy has her best friend, Jackie, and her comics-filled diary to gossip with and vent to about her cursed life. But then her curse strikes again, an Addy loses Jackie's friendship....
