Based on the ancient Sanskrit epic, the Mahabharata, THE DHARMA FOREST is the first book in a trilogy that reimagines the most compelling aspect of this Hindu classic: a Great War between two branches of a Hindu royal familythe Pandavas (supposed to be on the side of "good") and the Kauravas (on the side of "evil")each fighting for their right to claim the throne of an ancient and mighty kingdom.
