THE ESCAPE GAME unfolds through the povs of four contestants all strangers thrown together to compete as a team in the eponymous game show, a reality TV phenomenon in which teams of teenagers are pitted against each other to gather clues, break codes, and escape stylized puzzle rooms for eternal glory amongst the show's rabid fanbase. This season, with a new sponsor and a massive million dollar prize on the line, glory in the fandom isn't the only goal for four new teens who have only just met and are now inextricably entwined winning means life-changing money and a true chance to start anew. The four teammates (who are also roommates sequestered together for the duration of the show) are: Aditya Parvesh, a cryptographer, who longs to escape a neglectful home life and his egocentric mother, no matter what it takes. Math whiz Carter Kelly, whose online persona of a confident Solve Specialist disguises her real-life solitude and social anxiety. Beck Matheson, budding escape room designer and homeschooled optimist, who is utterly unprepared for the dark realities of reality TV. And goth girl Sierra Angelos, whose appearance on the show is sure to stir up plenty of drama. Because last season, Sierra's sister Alicia was found murdered on set. Now, Sierra doesn't just want answers. She wants revenge. Though the producers insist that everything is back to business as usual, it isn't long before unnerving clues from a mysterious source start appearing in the rooms, urging contestants to solve the real mystery and unveil Alicia's killer. With an unknown competitor bent on sabotage and a murderer still on the loose, this season of The Escape Game, everyone has something to win. and even more to lose.
