Sofie Laguna has previously written for children and young adults. She is also an actor and lives in Melbourne. Her first novel for adults was One Foot Wrong (2008) which was shortlisted for the Prime Minister's Literary Awards 2009 and longlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award 2009.
