THE GRYPHON KING

THE GRYPHON KING, is an adult dark fantasy with romantic elements that combines the queer representation of THE PRIORY OF THE ORANGE TREE with a Turkic-inspired HOUSE OF THE DRAGON.

Soul-seeing Bataar is known for slaying a gryphon when just a child; armor-clad Nohra is known for riding her Pegasus into battle as a warrior princess. When Bataar takes the capital, Nohra's home, and kills the king, Nohra swears vengeance for her father's death, but her quest for revenge is tested by a budding friendship with Bataar's wife, Qaira, which between steamy baths and gentle touches in the medic tent, could turn into something more. Nohra needs strong allies to beat Bataar, but her father's court is full of spies, betrayal, and whispered secrets. As rioting breaks out and mythic beasts incite panic, Bataar and Nohra must fight together to keep order, their changing feelings for one another becoming harder to ignore. But the most dangerous threat is a chaos more ancient than any empire, and it's walked beside Nohra her whole life. Now Bataar and Nohra must become reluctant allies if they wish to defeat gryphons, ghouls, and ancient forces beyond their control.
