THE ISLE OF EVER

Jen Calonita

Bestselling and beloved author Jen Calonita delivers the first in a brand new middle grade series featuring a girl who will inherit a mysterious fortune if she can break a centuries-old curse.
The Isle of Ever is a tale seeped in the past and the way it shapes the future. A story about friendship, and the lengths we'll go for someone we care about. It's a fantastical quest, and an adventure, about a twelve-year-old girl who will do anything to find a place to call home. Oh, and there's also a cursed pirate treasure! Everly 'Benny' Benedict doesn't have much to her name when a lawyer tracks her and her mom down and tells them an ancestor she never knew left her a life-changing inheritance. The catch: The inheritance is hers if and only if, she can find an island off the coast of Long Island that doesn't exist on any maps. Following clues and journal entries with the help of a few new friends, Benny quickly realizes there's more than an inheritance at stake. There also might be an island that contains secrets of its own, and answers to questions Greenport has had for centuries about what happened to a group of kids who disappeared in a storm in 1825. Jen Calonita is the New York Times bestselling author of the The Retake, Fairy Tale Reform School series, Secrets of My Hollywood Life as well as several books in the Twisted Tale series. She lives in New York with her husband and two boys. Visit her online at: www.jencalonitaonline.com and Twitter @jencalonita.
