THE LITTLE CLOUD
In a world that often values being busy for the sake of being busy, readers of all ages will be inspired by this heart-melting hero!
This story follows Little, a cloud who has a hard time doing what all clouds are supposed to do: make storms - and that's it! She doesn't get why everyone always has to be so busy, so focused. Maybe she could sneak away just for a moment, and explore the world below? The other clouds don't understand, but when the day takes an unexpected turn, it's clear that Little was onto something all along.
Like all of Pam's stories, under the adorable characters and gorgeous scenery (her use of color as the dawn rises is striking!) lies a profoundly beautiful takeaway. In her exploration of what it means to be happy and to make the most of each day, Little encourages us to stay curious and find delight in what others may overlook.
Pam Fong was born in Taiwan, came to the US when she was 2 years old and grew up in Southern California.
