Erica S. Perl is the author of nine picture books, including CHICKEN BUTT, GOATILOCKS, and FEROCIOUS FLUFFITY. She is also the author of one YA novel and four middle grade novels, WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU OJ, ACES WILD, THE CAPYBARA CONSPIRACY, and ALL THREE STOOGES, a 2019 Sydney Taylor Honor Book and the Winner of the 2018 National Jewish Book Award in Children's Literature (all Knopf). In addition to being a prolific author, Erica worked for many years at First Book, the groundbreaking non-profit organization that has provided over 100 million brand new books to children in need.

Shahar Kober is a freelance illustrator and art director, who lives in Israel. He graduated from Shenkar College of Design in 2005. He illustrates children's books, contributes illustrations to newspapers, magazines, websites, and animation projects.
