The Pocket Watch Gang
This is the story of an adventure through the United States in order to realize a childhood dream, a mixture between Huckleberry Finn and Stand By Me, with all the emotions of a Southern States novel.
1904. Four friends living in a small village near the marshes of Lousiana find three dollars, a fortune that they want to spend on a crazy idea: they plan to order a revolver at the famous Walker & Dawn Catalogue, the weighty book that makes every dream come true. They send their money to the central office in Chicago but certainly they couldn’t imagine that they will receive a parcel with a rotten pocket watch in return. Without telling anything to anybody, they set out on a long journey from New Orleans to Chicago, in a dangerous quest to recover what belongs to them.
