Petra Terhoeven doesn’t present yet another chronicle of events rather she uses the most advanced current research to explain how a terrorist group emerged from the urban guerilla experiments of a small minority of radicalized “68ers.” The RAF not only sparked a profound disruptive moment in German post-war history, but also still holds a morbid fascination long after its political failure.
