THE ROAD TO ROSWELL is a madcap road trip comedy that is pure Connie Willis: filled with alien conspiracies, casinos, cowboys, and con men. And an Elvis impersonator or two... because,?why not?

Francie is not thrilled to be making the trip to Roswell, New Mexico in the middle of the town's infamous UFO Festival. She's on a mission to stop her best friend from getting married to the latest in a long line of bad boyfriends – base jumpers, psychics, and now a UFO nut – but before she can speak up, she finds herself abducted by an actual alien fugitive!

Stuck in her heinous green bridesmaid dress (that even glows in the dark) and forced to drive on a wild trip across the Southwest, Francie and the mysterious alien pick up more unlucky passengers along the way—a hitchhiking conman, a conspiracy theorist, a sweet old lady, and a cowboy film nut. Their journey takes them through curio shops, casinos, and Las Vegas wedding chapels as they attempt to communicate with their alien escort. Because maybe, just maybe, the fate of civilization hangs in the balance.

Can Francie escape this road trip from?hell??Or does she have to decide between saving the universe and making it to the church on time?
