THE SUPERTEACHER PROJECT
Mr. Aidact isn't like any teacher the students at Brightling Middle School have ever had. He snatches Oliver's spitballs out of the air with lightning-fast reflexes, totally trashes a classroom to teach Nathan math, has endless rap battles with Steinke, leads the girls field hockey team to victory for the first time in decades, and turns after school detention into the number one hangout spot every student is dying to get into.
Everyone thinks Mr. Aidact is pretty awesome, including Rosalie's PTA President mom, who has a major crush on him. But when suspicious students follow him home one day, they find out something shocking: Mr. Aidact is a robot!
And that's not all. When the covert government project Mr. Aidact was sent there for goes south, the students have to band together to keep Mr. Aidact from being shut down and salvaged for parts. But can a bunch a middle-schoolers really go up against the entire government, and worse, an army of angry parents all by themselves? Or will they have to say 'goodbye' to the best teacher they've ever had...for good?
Gordon Korman published his first book at age fourteen and since then has written more than ninety middle grade and teen novels. Favorites include the New York Times bestselling Ungifted, Supergifted, The Unteachables, Pop, Schooled, and the Masterminds series.
