During her spoken word poetry performances, audiences around the world have responded strongly to Sarah Kay's poem The Type. Sarah Kay is a native New Yorker and received a Master's degree in the Art of Teaching Secondary English from Brown University. While in high school she co-founded Project V.O.I.C.E. and became the youngest poet to compete at the National Poetry Slam. Kay is the author of B. which she performed, and received a standing ovation for, at the TED2011 Conference. She continues to perform, create, and workshop poetry to audiences across the planet.

Sophia Janowitz has created chickens out of bathmats for the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center, chocolate buttons for a pop?up store in Boston, a poster for a musical premiering at the Jewish Refugees Museum in Shanghai, and a cardboard levitating house for a play premiering in New York City. She is currently studying typography design in Paris.
