Celia and Oliver Navel are fortunate enough to be the children of Dr. and Dr. Navel, two of the world's most storied explorers. But when a little bit of poking around leads them to a plot to kill their father by Sir Edmund, a devious "charlatan" explorer who bought his way into the club, the twins begrundgingly put the cheese balls and remote control aside for a thrilling romp that sends them careening through the mountains of Tibet, crashing through the jungles of South America, and investigating dangers, conspiracies, and terrors they wouldn't even want to see on television. But maybe, just maybe, this is their chance to finally find their mom.This is truly the anti-Series of Unfortunate Events -- but packed with just as much fun and adventure, with wit to spare.
