Wind-Born

Since the Skar enslaved the world it has been covered in sand, and water has become increasingly difficult to find. When cloud-stormer Ashara meets Kiyan, while searching for a way to save her people, she discovers that – like her – he has the ability to command one of the four elements. She begins to hope again. Not only because Kiyan could be the people’s saviour, but because Ashara feels close to him in a way she has never felt before. But Ashara is in danger of losing him and her people to the Skar. In the process of fighting them she discovers that the tyrants have made a mistake in their conquest of mankind – a mistake through which the Skar have created their own greatest enemy and which awakens the destructive power of the storm in Ashara.
